Functional Safety Engineer (m|f|d)

* Ensure compliance with key regulatory frameworks, including The German Water Resources Act, Asbestos regulations, and Hazardous material management. * Conduct HSE audits and inspections to assess compliance with internal and external requirements. * Perform risk assessments, including those for hazardous substances, water management, and asbestos-related activities. * Provide technical expertise in hazardous materials handling, emergency response planning, and incident investigations. * Maintain and update HAZMAT catalogs, Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), COSHH assessments, and operating instructions for hazardous substances. * Support waste management, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives. * Monitor developments in German, EU, and international HSE regulations to ensure ongoing compliance. * Collaborate with internal teams and external regulatory bodies on HSE matters. * Deliver HSE training and workshops to improve awareness and adherence to safety protocols. * Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to enhance safety
