Application Engineer (m/w/d) - Rail

Support Rail Engineering tactics and front-end business goals by translating customer needs into innovative applications for Timken bearings and related products, combining strong engineering fundamentals, application expertise, and customer insight to deliver value-added solutions and share knowledge across the organization Technical Analysis & Engineering Support Perform advanced bearing analysis using proprietary Timken software and other engineering tools. Conduct calculations beyond standard software capabilities, including adjusted L10 life, system analysis, and internal geometry design. Define bearing specifications, recommend seal and lubricant solutions, and review customer selections. Provide engineering and technical support to field sales and internal teams Customer Engagement & Application Development Translate customer needs into bearing solutions aligned with Timken's business goals. Present technical information to customers to influence buying decisions and add value.
