Senior Semiconductor Technology & Simulation Engineer (m/f/d)

Perform and interpret simulation studies for innovative semiconductor test solutions and semiconductor devices Analyze emerging semiconductor technologies, process trends, and device architectures, and assess their impact on future semiconductor IC test requirements and strategies. Evaluate technology-related challenges such as process variations, defect categories, packaging issues, transistor behavior, thermal effects, and reliability mechanisms from both device and test application perspectives. Translate device-level findings into system-level implications, helping define test methodologies, characterization approaches, and future semiconductor IC test product directions. Support technology scouting, feasibility studies, and pathfinding activities in collaboration with customers, research institutes, foundries, and internal development teams. Act as a technical bridge between semiconductor technology, product definition, and test solution development, contributing to innovative prototype solutions on the Advantest V93000
