Over the past decade, Eaton has consistently maintained a diversified and cautious approach to the evolution of the automotive market. The growth of the eMobility division has not slowed Eaton's activities in internal combustion engines; on the contrary, the company has continued to invest in this area and expand its technical expertise. More recently, following the revision of the Fit for 55 package, which updated the regulations that would have effectively led to a ban on the sale of internal combustion engines in Europe, together with the global slowdown in BEV growth, Eaton is now strongly positioned to support OEMs seeking a reliable and highly competent partner for the development of internal combustion engines. This applies both to applications where the engine remains the sole source of mechanical power and to hybrid powertrains.
