Professur für Data and Knowledge Engineering

Applicants should have an excellent international track record in research related to data and knowledge engineering gained through their work at a university, research institute or in the industrial sector. Potential research interests are: * Data and knowledge modelling and knowledge graphs * Knowledge discovery and acquisition * Knowledge retrieval and deduction systems * Data integration, especially data cleaning * Data provenance * Data exploration and profiling * Data creation and data management for AI The professorship is central to the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics and is intended to collaborate closely with the existing chairs and professorships in the faculty. Active participation in joint research projects is expected. The postholder will represent the subject in research and teaching. This involves teaching modules for the German-taught Bachelor's degree programmes as well as research-led, English-taught modules for the Master's degree programmes of the faculty.
