Currently, the new FAIR (Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research) one of the world's largest research projects, will be built in international cooperation. GSI and FAIR offer the opportunity to work in this international environment with a team of employees committed to ensuring each day to conduct worldclass science. The division of “Superconducting Magnets & Testing” (SCM) is looking at the earliest possible date for an Engineer (all genders) Reference 26.141-6352 We are currently producing and testing superconducting magnet assemblies for the construction of the Super Fragment Separator (Super-FRS), a key machine at the FAIR facility. We are looking for an employee with experience in cryogenics, electrical testing, instrumentation or measurement technology to carry out the tests. The acceptance tests for the superconducting magnets for the Super-FRS are being conducted at the largescale research facility CERN near Geneva (Switzerland), which is where the workplace is primarily located.
