Head of Fighter Radar Test Means Design (w/m/d)

Team Leadership & Development: You lead and inspire the cross-functional team of approx. 20 employees within the "Fighter Radar Test Means Design" department in Ulm (both disciplinary and functionally) and continuously foster the individual skills and career development of your team members. Project Management & Coordination: You plan and steer the development of test equipment (test means) in alignment with contractual agreements and regulations, working in close alignment with intersecting departments. Tendering Support: You are responsible for conceptualizing new test means development projects, including precise effort estimations to support technical proposals. Make-or-Buy & Partner Management: You strategically evaluate development efforts based on cost-efficiency, quality standards, and deadlines. In addition, you manage and monitor subcontractors to ensure high performance. Cross-functional Collaboration: You network closely with other engineering teams within Fighter Radar Engineering and actively drive continuous improvements in collaboration.
